Holmfield Art Farm

On the last day of July I was on a wonderful road trip to Holmfield, MB with my delightful Drawn Together artist friends to visit our friend Katharine Bruce at her Holmfield Art Farm. Between the eight of us creatives there was lots of laughter, inspiring discussion, and a collaborative paint session facilitated by our lovely host Katharine Bruce. We each got a section of the painted canvas to take home and hang as is or add to. We strolled through fields down to the river and around the town taking in the sights. The alfalfa and wildflowers were out in all their glory, and the weather gods cooperated, providing a cloudy day with just enough of a breeze to keep the mosquitos at bay. It was such a lovely day and this uplifting time spent with friends was such a treasure to be blessed with.
