Maple Time - Limited Edition Reproduction Print

About The Work:

There is a graceful splendor to Autumn, when maple leaves night chilled to brilliant hues drift down to patchwork quilt Summer’s earthy growth, patterned with fallen seeds and rivulets of drizzle, readying for Winter’s long white sleep, awaiting the rejuvenation and rebirth that comes with Spring. Maple Time portrays the fall cycle of maple trees. The background, a migration of fallen seeds and other plant life in the rivulets of autumn's drizzle, was inspired by nature artist Andy Goldsworthy, who floats thorn-strung leaves down rivers for his love of the resulting artistic design. My Zenworks express my love of pen and ink and a desire to meld symbolism with abstract imagery created through spontaneous strokes and repetitive patterns. Zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.

Limited Edition Reproduction Prints (maximum run of 75) of the original Pen and Ink artwork are printed on acid-free fine art paper with a foamcore backmat and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

I scan my original artwork with an Epson Expression 11000XL Graphic Arts flatbed scanner and then print the reproduced image onto acid-free fine art paper using an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Designer Edition printer with Epson Ultrachrome K3 Archival Inks. Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do on your limited edition archival print.
