About The Work:
Bees are key to crop pollination and improving yields on self-pollinating crops. Our local beekeeping industry, along with the fertile soil and water sources in our area, support an abundance of food crops, wildflowers, prairie grasses and other natural vegetation, wild animals, livestock and livelihoods. Bees symbolize the celebration of community and fellowship, through hard work, diligence and a harmonious and peaceful co-existence. My Zenworks express my love of pen and ink and a desire to poetically meld the abstract with imagery created through spontaneous strokes and repeating patterns. Zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.
Limited Edition Reproduction Prints (maximum run of 75) of the original Pen and Ink artwork are printed on acid-free fine art paper with a foamcore backmat and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.
I scan my original artwork with an Epson Expression 11000XL Graphic Arts flatbed scanner and then print the reproduced image onto acid-free fine art paper using an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 Designer Edition printer with Epson Ultrachrome K3 Archival Inks. Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do on your limited edition archival print.
