We’ve Moved!

It's been a whirlwind February and March putting our house in Dauphin up for sale and buying a new home in Brandon. Our Dauphin place sold the day we listed, and we had four weeks to pack, find a new place, arrange for movers and storage, etc. We were fortunate that it all came together (thank-you moving gods!) and we took possession of our new home 1 day before the movers were picking up our belongings from the old place. And then the unpacking started...

While the basement is not finished, I am thankful it is a HUGE wide open space and a good portion of it will become my art studio - I am so happy about that! I also never realized how many supplies I had tucked away in the old place - yikes! Here's some before and after photos - quite the chaos, but I am pleased that I've got it pretty much sorted.

I'm going to miss the old studio with it's lovely picture rails along the walls, but we've plans to finish the basement over time but for I'm now at the point where I can focus on creating - yay!

Tomorrow while me darlin'B is at an archery shoot, accompanied by the batdog, I shall be down in my studio with a hot cup of tea, listening to tunes and channeling inspiration through zendoodling. Let the creating begin!
